Kirkcaldy Bulls have matched success on the field with success off the field as they were awarded the Kirkcaldy Area Sports Council’s Team Award 2009, presented at the recent ceremony hosted at Adam Smith College. Furthermore Head Coach Neil Arnold received Runner-Up in the Sports Personality of the Year 2009 category, which was decided by a public vote hosted by the Fife Free Press.

It is with great pleasure to annouce that Bull Run III will be held this year at Dunfermline Rugby Football Club on 8th & 9th May 2010.

Usually a coach has to cope to with late call-offs before games but in the run up to the Cobras Superbowl Saturday’ tournament I got notified that 4 extra players were confirmed as attending boosting our squad considerably. The problem to this was that we needed to reshuffle our starting lines and get a couple of Bulls newbies very quickly up to speed on the playbooks etc.
Competing in the tournament were Carluke Cobras (hosts), Grangemouth Broncos, Glasgow Hornets, and Kirkcaldy Bulls (reigning champs)

January saw the first training session for the Bulls of the year, and was the first time all the Bulls had been back together since about October last year. Some good sessions to start with and with quite a few outgoing and incoming players the dynamics of the team has changed so we will have to train more this year (to be fair though any training would be more than last year!!).
Kirkcaldy Bulls are holding their first training session of the new 2010 Flag Football season and are opening up the session to anyone over the age of 18 wanting to come along and give it a try.
